I am a book fanatic; I am constantly reading something (here is my current reading list). But my love for audiobooks have been growing.
Audiobooks allow you to “read” when its normally not convenient to hold a book – say while driving, jogging, or other physical activities. It’s a great way to get through incredible books without having to flip pages.
Granted, not every narrator is worth listening to, but I’ve found a handful of great ones.
One of my favorite things at the start of the month is to check out ChristianAudio.com’s free book of the month. Some of them are not worth downloading, but some are gems.

ChristianAudio is giving away an incredible audiobook from one of my favorite authors: The Attributes of God (Volume 1) by AW Tozer. If you have never read Tozer, he was a pastor and a prolific author – considered by many Christians as a true “hero of the faith.”

When downloading, you’ll have the chance to download either the MP3 or the M4B version. Here’s the difference:
- MP3 you are likely familiar with – this is the standard format for music and audio files
- M4B is a special audiobook format that allows you to stop listening, listen to other stuff, and come back and start back at the same spot you left the audio. I prefer this option so I don’t have to remember where in the audio I am (it automatically picks up where I left off).
