We all engage with content in different ways. Some prefer written content to read and scan. Others lean toward audio they can listen to on the go. And still others like the visual medium of video.
One of my desires for the past year has been to leverage all three media types to share Jesus Christ and the Bible to a world that desperately needs truth.
About a year ago, a good friend of mine named Jacob Story asked if I’d be interested in starting a video series of short studies in God’s Word. I loved the idea, we decided to call it “Ginosko in the Word,” but it has taken nearly a year to get it going.
Alas, today is the day!
For my part, Ginosko in the Word will consist of a monthly video that will allow you to join me in a study of God’s Word. Each month we will discuss a portion of God’s Word with follow-up questions that you can study on your own to prepare for the next month’s study. Personally, I’m excited about the opportunity to teach people not only how to study God’s Word but saturate together in the Bible’s depths.
We are also soon launching a weekly deeperChristian video study where we will be walking through the book of Ephesians in depth.
My prayer is that these videos, along with the audio podcast, and weekly articles, will encourage, edify, and equip Christians in their pursuit of Jesus Christ as they build their lives around Him.
In today’s Ginosko in the Word video, we talk about the Greek word “ginosko,” why knowing Jesus beyond academics is important, and what true Christianity is all about.
