One of the privileges of being at a church like Cross Style, is the avenues of the Message. We are all about the Message! We are strong and protective about the Message; but we also want the Message in the lives of everyone.Since we started Cross Style Church we have not only had phenomenal preaching from my friend and mentor Stephen Manley, but we have also begun singing the Message through music. Sean Patrick has been taking the Message (often using the sermons) and turning them into memorable and impactful declarations of Truth. Much like Charles Wesley of old, who would take theology and turn it into song, Sean has been taking the Message and putting a musical score behind it. I say all that for this purpose – this evening as we gathered for our “Training School class,” before the Word was proclaimed, we learned a new song. While reading words upon a screen does it no justice, I wanted to share it nonetheless. May we be pulled ever deeper into Jesus!
You Reign
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Where every space knows Your embrace
And all enveloped in Your Presence.
May it be the same in me, Your Kingdom on the earth.
For Your domain is everywhere You reign.
So Jesus, make Your home and sit upon this throne
For Yours is the Kingdom. Yours is the power.
And I am Yours and Yours alone.
Chorus
You are Almighty King. Reign in me. Reign in me.
Your Kingdom within me, Lord reign.
Bridge
Jesus, You long for every part of me.
Jesus, to build Your Kingdom strong in me.
Jesus, if I could just see how You see
The world would have no pull and sin would not allure.
So shape my opinion, have all dominion
For I am Yours, Yours alone.
