Jesus is our Good Shepherd (see John 10).
And as our shepherd, He leads us beside still waters and grassy meadows. He leads us, comforts us, and restores our souls.
In short, Jesus is the fulfillment of Psalm 23.
In W. Phillip Keller’s classic book A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23: Discovering God’s Love for You, Keller (a tremendous writer and a former shepherd) gives insight on what it means practically for Jesus to be our shepherd.
This book gives amazing insights into shepherding, especially in light of Jesus.
Because I love it so much, I am super excited to give away W. Phillip Keller’s A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 to five people in this month’s Deeper Christian book giveaway.
