I am a big Andrew Murray fan. Of Christian writers throughout history, Murray makes my top three list of favorites to read and mull over.
Recently I came across an outstanding book called Daily in His Presence filled with devotional thoughts written by Andrew Murray covering several major themes within Christianity (each covered throughout a month of daily readings):
- New life in Christ
- The cross
- A life of faith
- Fellowing with God
- The throne of grace
- Intercession
- Etc
With a stirring introduction on Andrew Murray’s life, this year-long devotional book is a rich dessert to your day to draw your focus to Christ, deepen your love of Him, and give you wisdom nuggets to practically apply to your Christian walk.
If you are looking for a book to read this year, I would encourage you to add this to the time you spend reading and studying God’s word.
