I just finished reading Fresh Wind Fresh Fire again.
While I tend to lean toward classic Christian books, there are a few modern titles that have deeply stirred me over the years. This is one of them.
Calling the Church back to a foundation and focus of prayer, Jim Cymballa recounts the story of the Brooklyn Tabernacle and how God has moved in their midst in response to prayer.
The book is deeply edifying and a convicting call to go to our knees.
If you are looking for a book on prayer that doesn’t give the “how to” but rather a reminder of the “why,” this book will be an encouragement to you — especially if you are in ministry or church leadership.
