Recently I was listening to an interview with the late revivalist Leonard Ravenhill. In it, he held up a small book on revival and said, in essence, you need to buy this book and read it.

So, as someone who deeply loves and appreciates the ministry of Ravenhill, I bought a copy and had it in hand within a few days.

Using Isaiah 63:3-64:12, Come Down Lord! by Roger Ellsworth covers the theme of revival from the position of our need for God’s holy presence and His grace—through repentance, prayer, and fresh faith in the promised mercy of God. The chapters themselves gives a great insight into this little treatise:

  • We Miss You
  • We Need You
  • We Wait for You
  • We Will Meet You
  • We Have Wronged You
  • We Belong to You
  • We Beseech You

If you have a passion for Jesus, a heart for revival, or you know how desperate our times are for another great awakening, this little book will be a great encouragement to you.

So this month I am delighted to give away a copy of Roger Ellsworth’s book Come Down Lord! to five people.

Here is who won last month’s book giveaway …
