Key Passage: Ephesians 1:6

Ephesians 1:6 – “… to the praise of the glory of His grace which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved.”

  • 1 Corinthians 10:31: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
  • Psalm 24:7-10: Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!
  • Psalm 19:1: The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.
  • Psalm 29:2: Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
  • Hebrews 1:3: “He [Jesus] is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power.”
  • John 17:10 [Jesus in His high priestly prayer] – “And I am glorified in them.”
  • Matthew 5:16 [Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount] – “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven”
