One of the blogs I subscribe to contains odd and interesting collections of pictures. Yesterday the post was on what the world would look like statistically if it only contained 100 people (because it is easier for our mind to understand the number 100 rather than 7.2 billion). As I was reading through the list, it was a profound missions perspective on our world today. Take a look:

- Location: 14 people would be from the Americas | 11 Europeans |15 Africans | 60 Asians | 0.5 would be from the Oceania area
- Suburbia: 51 would be urban dwellers | 49 would be rural
- Religion: 33 Christians | 22 Muslims | 14 Hindus | 7 Buddhists | 12 people who practice other religions | 12 people who would not be aligned with a religion

- Literacy: 83 would be able to read and write
- Education: 7 would have a college degree
- Technology: 75 would be cell phone users | 30 would be active internet users | 22 would own or share a computer
