We may live in perilous times — a season where darkness is encroaching, lies abound, and lawlessness seems to reign — but let us remember that even when the nations rage, people plot, and kings set themselves against the Lord, our God continues to sit in heaven laughing (see Psalm 2).
And remember that light seems to shines brighter the darker it gets. So may I encourage us all to allow the One who is light to shine forth from our lives and declare the realities of truth through our lips.
These are exciting days to be alive … especially as a Christian!
There is tremendous hope, for the Lord our God is on our side. So let us live victoriously, fearless, and immovable … regardless what happens in the culture around us. Let the Gospel be the declaration of our lives and lips and may this world once again know that Jesus is the true and rightful King.
Perilous times demand a powerful response – prayer.
