The God of New Beginnings

God delights in new beginnings.

As we start a new year, we need to remember our God is the “God of new beginnings” – and allow Him to push a reset button on our lives and make this year one of the best, most intimate, most victorious years of our lives.

• Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

• Colossians 1:13 – For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

• Charles Spurgeon – “Briefly, then, here is one of the grandest truths that ever fell even from the lips of Jesus:—‘Behold, I make all things new.’” [Rev 21:5]
• Psalm 46:10 – “Cease striving [be still] and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
• Ephesians 4:22-24 – that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
• Romans 8:29 – For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren …
