While I read a lot of books spanning throughout Christian history, I don’t typically recommend many books written in this modern age.
Yet, recently, I was reading Francis Chan’s book Letters to the Church and was deeply encouraged and convicted by Chan’s passionate plea for the Church to return to the bedrock of our faith and renew our focus and love with Jesus.
With probing insight, deep humility, and a passion for Jesus, Francis Chan’s book is a clarion call to the Church to awake and return to the days of old.
After finishing the book, I wanted to immediately start it over again – and I think you (whether you are a ministry leader or not) need to read this book.
