I recently finished reading a Christian missionary biography called Green Leaf In Drought (by Isobel Kuhn). It recounts the struggle of Arthur and Wilda Matthews who served in China during the mid 1900s.

Though we hear of their plight and difficulty, the real question that is addressed throughout the book is: can a Christian grow and mature regardless of circumstances? Can believers continue to grow green leaves … even in drought? The answer is a bold YES!

If you are struggling or questioning the difficulties and trials of your life, this is a stirring, convicting, and encouraging read.

This month I am excited to give away this great biography to five people.
