I don’t know about you, but I love this time of year.
There is a freshness, an excitement, an expectancy as we approach summer. This weekend, the Bravehearted team I serve on is hosting the Set Apart Conference for women. Though I’m not sitting in on the actual sessions, it is an exciting time to watch hundreds of women seek after Christ—both on our campus and watching online.
It reminded me the importance of continually learning and growing. None of us have arrived. All of us need to continue maturing, seeking after Jesus, and deepening in our love and understanding of Him. Conferences are a great way to do that. So are books. And online Courses. Or listening to podcasts and classic sermons. In fact, if you missed last week’s podcast on 12 Things You Can Do to Have a Spiritually Successful Summer, I highly encourage you to give it a listen as I give ideas and suggestions on how this summer can be a season of growth … not a time to unplug and coast spiritually.
Either way, I pray this summer is a time of rest, refreshment, and ultimately a season for you to grow and deepen in Jesus Christ.
Know I am cheering you on unto that end!
