The advent season is upon us—which means our focus is upon the coming of our Savior and celebrating His birth.
In Luke’s account, the angel Gabriel strolls upon the scene and makes two declarations to Mary. One is that she will be pregnant with the long-awaited Messiah. The other is all wrapped up in a patronymic.
What’s a patronymic you ask?
