October 31, 2017 was the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. 500 years ago, Luther nailed his 95 Thesis to the Wittenberg door in Germany. This “protest” against the Catholic Church has radically changed the landscape of Church History and has brought us to the times we now live.
Granted, we are at a point in history when we need another reformation. Much of the Church is lackadaisical, sin-drenched, apathetic, and lacking a backbone to stand for Truth. Many within the Church are asking “isn’t there something more?”
What we need is revival. We need renewal. We need something deeper than what most of us are experiencing. In short, we need Jesus.
In celebration of the Reformation’s 500th Anniversary, this month I’m excited to give away a copy of the film Luther (a dramatic retelling of Martin Luther’s life) to five members of the deeperChristian community!
